Mecwide is undertaking a project in the mining industry with a view to expanding the tailling installation of our client.
This expansion of the current 187.9 hectares of disposal area to a further 18.5 hectares will mean an increase in the final confined disposal capacity of the mine tailings from the current 33.3 hm3 licensed for to 50 hm3.
Mecwide’s scope includes the implementation of a new piping system, the transport of thickened waste for disposal, totalling approximately 9000 metres of piping, testing and commissioning.
