On September 29, a delegation led by Sonangol Board Member Jorge Vinhas, Sonagás CEO Manuel Barros and our Chairman Carlos Palhares visited the final works of the Falcão 2 Project. Work is progressing well, with the Gas Reception and Distribution Unit (GRDU) already 95% complete.
The project is part of a wider initiative to develop the country’s natural gas industry, the development of a facility that will increase natural gas supply capacity from 75 to 125 million cubic feet (per day) to the Soyo Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCCS1).
