EPC Project aims at reducing nitrogen oxide emissions

Mecwide developed an Mecwide EPC project aimed at reducing the emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from the Sinter unit at ArcelorMittal, in Gent.

By reusing 30% of the waste gas flow generated by the plant process, Mecwide was responsible for the Engineering, Supply, Construction, Assembly and Commissioning of approximately 430 tonnes of insulated ducts, 370 tonnes of steel structures and the revamping of the sealing and atmospheric protection system of the Sinter transporter, which has 120 metres.
