Another project was awarded to Mecwide, this time in Sines, Portugal.
We’re excited to be part of this extremely important undertaking, New Polyethylene and Polypropylene Plants, which represents a significant milestone and will boost the economic development of the region and promote advances in local industry. This units, with market-leading technologies of linear polyethylene and polypropylene, will be the first of their kind in the Iberian Peninsula. The new materials produced are 100% recyclable and can be used for highly specialized applications aligned with energy transition in the pharmaceutical, automotive and food industries.
The project, which will last 14 months, and Mecwide’s works will consist of the prefabrication of piping and supports including fabrication, supply and manufacture, painting and NDT’s.
